Many girls in Girl Scouting are part of a Girl Scout troop. Being in a troop is a great way to explore new areas of interest, gain valuable skills and make lifelong friends.

Troop Placement
If your daughter would like to become a Girl Scout, we encourage you to submit an Girl Interest Form to the Girl Scout office. Please note this is not a registration form. We will use this information to try to place your daughter into a troop. Typically girls are placed in troops based on their school's location or neighborhood of residence. The availability of troops is determined by the numbers of volunteer leaders in the area.

Adult Leaders
The availability of troops is determined by the numbers of volunteer leaders in the area. And, because we don't want any girl who is interested in becoming a Girl Scout to miss out on the troop experience, we are always looking for more Girl Scout Leaders! As a Girl Scout Leader, you have the opportunity to have fun while teaching girls life skills that will help them grow strong. Using age-appropriate Girl Scout resources matched with the girls' needs and interests, you plan and conduct meetings and activities that enable girls to develop their potential, to work with others, to develop values, and to contribute to our community. Girl Scout leaders are critical to the development of strong and courageous women!
